What will you have to show when your time comes?

2 Timothy Chapter 4

Viewing the Standard King James Version.

What will you have to show when your time comes?
I think all of us have had that thought or in some cases worry. Have we done enough for the Lord or our family and spouse, to feel that we can leave them. I have seen much more dying in this life than most and certainly much more than I ever wanted to. And one of the things I have seen is that people will hold on until someone from their family tells them it is okay to go. I think this is because we all worry more about the people we leave behind then about ourselves. I truly believe that the way is made easier by knowing that you are going to heaven , living a life with a personal relationship with the Lord. When that fear is gone then you think of your loved ones staying behind. I think that if we work on that prior to the time we are to depart, we would be in a better place to be able to go. Think about the one thing you would want to impart to your kids or grand kids. I think in my case I know, it would be the love of Jesus Christ and the personal interaction with the Lord and all that does for you. I thank my Mom and Dad everyday for giving me that gift. I try everyday to show my kids the importance of the gift and the greatness of the gift. And I try to lay a groundwork with my grandsons to let them see what Jesus has given them and can give them just for loving him.

I hope you all have a great week , I am delighted to report the my beautiful wife Jody and I have just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and even more excited to report she wants to keep me around after all those years. I love you Jody!!!!!

Have a great Day  Chuck
