How do you handle those that talk bad of you or question your faith?
2nd Corinthians Chapter 13 |
3
Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
9
For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.
We are at times challenged by those that do not understand our commitment or our calling. These folks want to do the right thing but are deceived or distracted from the true meaning of our words. Do we attack them or do we cut them apart with sharp words. No, we speak the truth and then tell them that we are weak but the weakness is our strength. Jesus could have easily prevented his death but he wanted us to know that through weakness we can sometimes be extremely strong. By giving someone the ability to make us look weak we are allowing them to show others and themselves how we are really so strong that we choose not to sink to that level . But instead we bring forth the true meaning and not debate it but let it stand on it's own glorious truth. Let the Lord's words be his message and no matter what is said or thought of you present them, for you are his servant , you do not serve anyone else but him. He has told you what to do and anything else is not important. Faith is following when it would be so much easier and more logical not to.
Please have a great week and spread our Father's words to the world it really needs them right now. CHUCK
Lovin God
