We are all damaged goods

As Christmas approachs I always think about the tale of the elf that fixed broken toys and the great moral of that story. It comes from Jesus' desire to fix broken people. But how are we broken and we all are broken. Here is the quote from the New Living Translation Bible
Matthew 9: 12

When he heard this, Jesus replied

"Healthy people don't need a doctor, sick people do."

Then he added " Now go and learn the meaning of the scripture, I want you to be merciful. I don't want your sacrifices. For I have come to call sinners, not those who think they are already good enough.."

For we are all sinners , not one of us has lived a perfect life and the sooner we admit that to ourselves the sooner we can realize that with out Jesus we are never getting in to Heaven. But by giving our lives to him and letting him lead you , you will be in Heaven and have everlasting life.
