Jesus is the Great Builder

Hebrews
Chapter 3

1 Wherefore, holy brethren,

partakers of the heavenly

calling, consider the Apostle

and High Priest of our

profession, Christ Jesus;

2 Who was faithful to him that

appointed him, as also Moses

was faithful in all his house.

3 For this man was counted

worthy of more glory than

Moses, inasmuch as he who

hath builded the house hath

more honour than the house

.

4 For every house is builded by

some man; but he that built all

things is God.

Today we are some times impressed by what a man has rather than what he has created. It is important to realize that the act of creating is much more glorified in God's eyes than the actual possession. I can think of a Pastor who is creating a church from the least of our society. He is not wealthy and has to sacrifice daily for his church to survive. I then think of a Pastor from a well known conventional church that has a beautiful home and lake property. If you listen to God the pastor with the flock from the least wealthy persons is the more wealthy in Gods rewards. Because he created the church and did for the people Jesus was most concerned with.
