Putting the Lord first each day

This Sunday we should turn our face to the Lord and acknowledge his place in our world and our lives. Too many times today we put politics, finances, and just plain self-centeredness ahead of the Lord and all that he does for us. We each day spend the majority of the day in such of the almighty dollar rather that searching for "The Almighty". So , we should start each day with that simple prayer that we all learned as a child.

Matthew Chapter 6

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Thus we put the Lord first by acknowledging his power and authority over us all.
 The Lord's Prayer   David Phelps
