I will carry you said the Lord

"Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am He, I am He who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you."

 - Isaiah 46:4

The Lord promised us in this passage that old age is but a small part of our journey and that He has us and will keep us safe and keep us going until he brings us home from this weary world. No passage can have more meaning when you are battling an illness or just plain old age. 

No passage from the bible more clearly states  his covenant with us to keep us safe and secure.

We need to be more willing to follow his lead and keep the trust in him first, foremost, strongest and longest of any thoughts we might have. Thank you Jesus for giving us this great gift and the passage to understand it.
