Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death

Psalms 23:4 | 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

As so many of the parents of folks my age are passing , I look to the Lord for comfort and want to know that they are alright and that I will be alright in this coming season. Each of us has fears and wants to be held under the protective arms of Christ, but do we realize that he not only protects us but he give us the ability to fight for ourselves. Thy rod and they staff comfort me it is no accident that those word are there as it shows us that we have the might of the Lord in our journey , we must just use them wisely. So, fear not he is with us and protecting us and giving us the tools to defend ourselves , we just must pray for guidance when and how to us them. Amen
