Minister unto the least of these

Luke Chapter 9
1Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

48And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

It is important to today's Christians to understand that doing God's work is not always full of instantaneous reward . It is best a personal event and done one on one . It is important to know that the individual testimony is the most dramatic and informative. Many times what can be said in private could not be said in a public forum with the same power. Being that person that shows a Godly life and when the time appears to witness and do God's work make the very most of it with all your heart and soul. Learn the Prayer of Salvation and carry it with you on your heart. Do not be afraid to witness to the most unlikely person and in the most unusual circumstance, this is what he has directed and expects of us. These are the true rewards of a Christian life to reach the least of these.

Make this part of your daily prayers to be given the opportunity to minister to the least of these and you will never wonder what God has in store for you again.
